With some addition of tungsten having exceptional corrosion resistance in a wide range of extreme environments,Hastealloy C22 is a combination of nickel-molyoaenum-chromiuim alloy. Elevated levels of molybdenum content makes the alloy specifically resistant to crevice cracking and pitting.

Carbide precipitation during welding is minimized to maintain corrosion resistance in welded structures due to the less carbon content in it. Used in pollution control, paper production, waste treatment and chemical processing pulp. Standard product forms are sheet, round, strip, wire, forging stock, plate, tube and pipe.

Exceptional resistance to both dropping and oxidizing media. Excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media. Exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments including strong oxidizers such as acetic anhydride, ferric acids and seawater and brackish solutions. Resists the creation of grain-boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone. Exceptional weldability.
