Inconel Alloy 825 / Alloy UNS N08825 / Incoloy Alloy WNR 2.4858
Inconel 825 comes with addition of molybdenum, copper and titanium to the authentic triplet combo of NICKEL-IRON-CHROMIUM. Exceptional resistance is provided towards many corrosive environments by this nickel-steel alloy composition. Comes with improved resistance power to aqueous corrosion. Alloy 825 UNS N08825 is resistant to reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion.
Used in for chemical processing, pollution-control equipment, oil and gas well piping, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production, and pickling equipment. UNS NO 8825, 8S 3072-3076 (NA 15), ASTM B-163, B-407-B409, ASME SB-163, SB 407-SB-409.SB-564, Boiler Code Section I, III, VII, IX
Standard product forms are round, flats, forging stock, pipe, tube plate, sheet, strip and wire Extremely resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids.
